We provide a number of programs to help clients achieve this end, including education, treatment, counseling, housing and court intervention.

SouthLight's Judicial Services Division is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Education Instructor for a part time contract position.

Classes will be held Saturdays and you must have availability between 9am-4:30pm

• Teach defendants the effects of alcohol and drugs mentally, physically, and legally
• Utilize education materials approved by Judicial Services management
• Prepare and maintain documents for the program and the courts
• Maintain safe environment conducive to learning
• Locate and acquire approved substitute instructor in the case you are not able to be present
• Be available to support clients fifteen minutes before class and remain present until every student leaves the premises
• Turn in status reports and rosters to courthouse staff

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or Social Services preferred with 2 years of substance abuse education experience or
• High School Diploma plus 10 years of substance abuse education experience
