SouthLight Healthcare is a non-profit substance abuse prevention, education and treatment agency. We provide behavioral and medical therapies for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions.

We are seeking a part-time LPN at our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) located at Garner Road location in Raleigh, NC. The OTP provides individual and group counseling along with medication assisted therapy using Methadone and Suboxone.

The Nurse will:
• Dispense Methadone or Suboxone to clients using a computerized dosing pump system
• Take vitals, obtain medical/psychiatric histories, conduct a review of systems, assist with examinations and perform TB tests.
• Identify clients showing signs of withdrawal or intoxication
• Run daily dosing reports
• Handle emergency situations
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, outside agencies, hospitals and physicians to coordinate services
• Maintain security of controlled substances and the dosing areas at all times
• Collect observed urine drug screens and blood specimens as needed
• Be willing to cross train in other areas such as primary care and behavioral health

Minimum qualifications:
• LPN licensure
• Working knowledge of M-4 Dosing System, Methasoft System desirable, not required
• 2 or more years of experience working with individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health population preferred
• Excellent documentation skills

• Weekend mornings
